first off: I actually am working on a drawing right now. I'm going to put up a WIP as soon as i get my scanner to work. (but who knows how long that'll take.) I've kinda been on a hiatus from DA lately, it's like I go on but only to check my notes. I'm going to try to turn that around now and start posting more art. yes, it's been over 3 months since my last journal entry, but to tell you the truth not too much has been going on art-wise. I mean, I've been practicing and all but not too much else... the exception to that is when I was at the library with a friend i got to inspiration to draw something. Most of my drawing I have up are referenced from something, be it a photo or a person, but this may actually be my first non-referenced drawing. (the sculpture with all the glass on it wasn't referenced, and the fish, but those aren't drawings.) it seems kinda late for me to be doing this but I feel like i'm in a practicing stage right now where i need to collect all the information i can and i do that by referencing. As far as drawing people goes I have been practicing drawing them without pictures, and i try to practice this every day. Anyways, the year is almost over and all of my art projects start early next year. I have an art class next semester in school and then airbrushing and sewing starting before that in January/February I believe. So, then I'll be pretty busy with doing assigned drawings. I'm going to take advantage of all the spare time I have for drawing now and get done what I want to get done. I'm hoping to get the WIP in this week, all i need is to figure out why my scanner isn't working (I'll probably end up just reinstalling the disk.) I'm also going to re-scan my Princess Peach because the scanner quality on that was poor. But, no matter what I'll keep practicing on art.
